There is one area every game designer must focus on to ensure that their games are captivating enough to entertain and provide an impactful experience to the user: game mechanics. When creating a new game, video game mechanics are often considered the most important factor.

In this blog, we will explain game mechanics, their benefits, and the crucial role of a game designer in utilizing these mechanics to craft captivating games. So let’s get started.

What are game mechanics?

Game mechanics refer to the rules, interactions, and systems that guide the player's actions. In simple terms, they define how the game functions and what determines its success or failure in the game. Game mechanics include everything from character movement and battle mechanics to puzzle-solving and resource management. Successful video game mechanics give players a sense of challenge, progression and reward, keeping them engaged for hours. They serve as the backbone of every engaging game, developing unique and innovative mechanics that differentiate the game from others.

Game Designers' role in video game mechanics

1. Our game design team conceptualizes, implements, and manages gameplay systems that produce addictive game loops, an enjoyable flow state and a risk/reward balance. If you are in need of expert game designers for hire, we have a skilled team ready to craft captivating games for your project.

2. Create and maintain detailed documentation (like design sketches, visual mock-ups and diagrams) that describes the triggers, interactions and subsequent events of certain gameplay elements or components.

3. Work closely with User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI) designers to improve the player interface.

4. Create various levels and environments within the game. They design the layouts, obstacles, and puzzles to create a smooth player experience.

Benefits of game mechanics in engaging gameplay

Progression system

The progression system is an essential aspect of game mechanic design. By using strategic rewards, like leveling systems, unlockable achievements, and character progression, players can feel a sense of success and advance within the game. A well-designed player progression system may significantly improve gameplay by providing something to aim for and look forward to while engaging with your product.

Flow

Game mechanics are designed to give players a sense of flow and engagement. They are designed so that users feel compelled to proceed from one challenge to the next in order to progress through the game. This keeps players immersed in the experience for longer, enhancing user engagement and retention.

Rewards and incentives

Rewards and incentives are essential to keep players interested in the game. By incorporating rewards into your game, like virtual items, in-game currency or access to premium content, you can encourage players to complete the given tasks, thus increasing their motivation.

Balance and challenge

A balanced game provides suitable challenges to gamers while ensuring they remain achievable. So, you must gradually raise the complexity or introduce new mechanics to keep players intrigued and prevent them from getting bored or frustrated.

Interactive gameplay

Integrating interactive elements that respond to the action of the player improves immersion. Responsive controls, dynamic settings and realistic physics give players a sense of power and make the game more interesting.

Open-ended exploration

Video game mechanics design is the process of developing and creating mechanics that regulate the operation of a game. It involves objectives, rules, obstacles and other elements that determine what the player can do within the game and how they interact with it. By employing open-ended exploration through game mechanic design, you can develop games that allow players to freely explore their world without being confined by pre-determined goals or outcomes.

Social features

Multiplayer and social aspects enable gamers to interact and compete with one another. Whether it is intense multiplayer battles or cooperative games, social interaction improves the entire gameplay by generating a feeling of competition and community.

Emergent gameplay

The significant benefit of video game mechanics design is that it allows you to create emergent gameplay - that is, situations where players can make choices and take actions that lead to unexpected results. This provides a more dynamic gameplay experience. With emergent gameplay, you can provide your players with the ability to shape their own narratives depending on the decisions they make while playing.

Now that you have acquired the fundamentals of video game mechanics, it is time to unleash your creativity and explore how to incorporate them into your game. Video Game Prototyping and Its Importance in Game Development https://logicsimplified.com/newgames/video-game-prototyping-and-its-importance-in-game-development/ Thu, 27 Jul 2023 09:40:30 +0000 https://logicsimplified.com/newgames/?p=8189 ]]> You came up with the ultimate game idea and think it is perfect. But soon after the launch, the audience was not impressed with the game. Some might find the levels boring, the visual design distracting, or the story might not entice them. Failing to identify these issues early results in losing a lot of money. Therefore, before developing the game's final version, you must test a prototype. This is one of the most crucial parts of game development that can boost the game’s overall quality and success.

What is a video game prototype, and why is it essential?

Video game prototyping is the process of developing a rough plan for your game. It is the basis of high-quality game development. It enables game app developers to fine-tune their ideas, find possible issues and test gameplay mechanics before the game is built. Discovering whether the game’s ideas are feasible and if they are truly enjoyable is the major goal of the prototype phase. Iterating on the game’s core concepts allows developers to evaluate whether or not their game idea will attract players. It enables them to avoid wasting money and time on building features that are either ineffective or unattractive.

Video game prototyping also aids developers in determining what works in their game and what does not. This is particularly beneficial for debugging because it helps them to detect flaws early and fix them before they become major issues. Furthermore, prototyping might assist developers in coming up with unique ideas that may not have been considered while brainstorming.

Why do you need video game prototyping?

Here, we will discuss what you can learn about your game by prototyping. A video game prototype can tell you about the following:

If your game idea is worth spending time on

Many game designers and developers believe in their idea blindly and ultimately end up failing. A prototype, however, might serve as a reality check for your game concept. By developing a simplified version of the game, you can test the core mechanics, entertainment factor and interactions. This helps determine whether the game idea is worthwhile before investing resources and time.

Assess logical errors

Some game ideas look great on paper but ultimately end up failing when put to the test. Prototyping allows you to perform various tests to find any logical flaws. If you find any defects, you can be sure that your players will also find them. Therefore, you can work on the solution there and then.

Saves time

Getting started on your game concept idea can be intriguing, but taking time to prototype your game idea can save time once you complete the game development. This is because you will not have the same difficulty once the game is finished.

Steps to develop a video game prototype

The following steps will help you create a video game prototype:

  • Begin with a brainstorming session with your team and outline your objectives.
  • Start with no more than 2-3 core gameplay features.
  • Give your concept a physical form by sketching it out on paper.
  • Share the information with project managers, stakeholders and test users. When necessary, ask for relevant feedback.
  • Adjust your prototype design depending on the feedback received from other users. It will assist you in redefining the concept and give it a better form.
  • You must now convert the paper design to a digital form. You can find an array of software or tools to help you with prototype development.
  • Discuss points with the concerned people and ask for feedback or recommendations. If there is any significant input, make the necessary improvements.
  • Make a playable demo, play-test it, and make revisions until it feels right.
  • If the 2 or 3 characteristics you choose perform as expected, add more functionalities.
  • Develop documentation at each step. This is critical and ongoing throughout the game design and development process.

Tips for successful video game prototyping

Focus on one idea: When prototyping a video game, it is critical to start with one game idea and work your way up. Rather than trying to create an entire game in one go, focus on one particular feature and build upon it as you go.

Iterative processes: Successful game prototyping relies significantly on iterative methods. Rather than developing a complete game, employ iteration to improve the game’s mechanics as well as features until you are satisfied with the result. This reduces the possibility of building a game that isn’t enjoyable.

Clear plan: It is crucial to have a well-thought-out plan before beginning to design your prototype. You must have a clear understanding of what features you would like to add and how they would work together. This will make it easier for you to create a cohesive prototype.

Emphasis on quality: When working on a game prototype, it is important to remember that quality is more than quantity. You don’t want to rush the process and end up with a game that isn’t as good as you want it to be.

Perform regular Testing: Testing is one of the most crucial components of video game prototyping. Ensure that you are testing your prototype on a regular basis. This will help you spot potential issues before they become major difficulties.

Feedback: During the game prototyping phase of game development, player feedback is also essential. Ask colleagues and friends to test your prototype and give feedback. This will help you refine and improve the game.

Wrap up

Video game prototyping is an important aspect of game development. Developing a prototype allows you to find areas for improvement in the games and make changes before moving into full production. On the basis of the feedback, you can add or remove features. It is also a great way for game developers to experiment creatively and try out different ideas without spending too much resources and time on a product that might not be lucrative.

Outsourcing game prototyping is a great choice as it can provide benefits like faster turnaround times, cost savings, precise results and access to expertise and technology. These advantages can be achieved by hiring a top game development company like Logic Simplified. We have been in the gaming industry for more than 10 years and have an expert team of developers and game designers for hire that assure top-notch quality work. Build interactive video games with AR & VR technology https://logicsimplified.com/newgames/build-interactive-video-games-with-ar-vr-technology/ Tue, 29 Jun 2021 07:41:01 +0000 https://logicsimplified.com/newgames/?p=6317 ]]> The Market for AR and VR for Gaming is forecast to reach $11.0 billion by 2026, growing at a CAGR of 18.5% from 2021 to 2026. The market is driven by the growing popularity and integration of AR and VR technologies in mobile phones and other wearable devices. (Source: Industryarc)

The above statistic makes one thing very clear that the gaming industry has seen tremendous growth over the past few years and predominantly smartphones are the major cause behind it. It wouldn’t be wrong to say that the industry owes its expansion to the smartphones that have given the users the flexibility to play anywhere and at any time. Augmented reality and Virtual reality are a user-focused technology that does amazing things and let’s people indulge in experiences that bring imagination to life. One can’t help but wonder about the experiences it provides its users to interact with the digital world by commingling the real world with the virtual.

There are a lot of big investments happening in these commercially feasible technological advances and the percentage for this is just expected to grow in the coming years. As regards, there are many reasons behind businesses showing strong confidence in Augmented reality and Virtual reality, few of which we will discuss going forward. But for those of you who are new to this subject, let;s first understand what these terms actually mean.

Augmented Reality & Virtual Reality

Many of you must have heard about the popular Nintendo owned “Pokemon Go”, an Augmented Reality game that works by placing the Pokemon on a world map and allowing the player to control it to catch other pokemons. A player starts from a specific location and uses their phone camera and GPS to see the Pokemon in the real world, find other pokemons and catch them. As the player moves in real life, so does the pokemon in the game on your mobile screen. This interaction of the game and real life is what Augmented Reality is. When the digital world and the physical elements come together to form a synthetic environment.

However, Beat Saber by Beat Games is a great example of a Virtual reality rhythm game where the player is placed into a three-dimensional environment and the player has to slash blocks representing musical beats with the use of a pair of glowing sabers. The movement of the avatar in the game is controlled by the movement of the player’s body using VR motion controllers. This simulation of another world or reality through computer or sensory devices is Virtual reality.

Further let’s discourse a few points on why developers should use AR and VR technology to build entertaining and immersive games.

AR and VR gives the player an indulging experience

We cannot neglect the fact that the use of AR and VR in gaming gives us quality games that are rich in graphics, and offers precise controls to the players other than the immersive experiences it provides. AR and VR allows designers to pay attention to the intricate details of the game and lets them give the players an emotional and exceptional experience that stays with them and makes them want to return to the game. With improved game mechanics, VR and AR game development brings increased potential for unexampled motion and gesture. It allows gamers to interact with elements and game controls giving them flexibility and command. For a gamer it is like feeling the wind in their hair or feeling the vibrations during fake explosions and gun flighting.

These innovations and technological advancements have been able to give the gamers an immersive digital experience which earlier was not possible. It also allows the user to play in their own avatar, live the virtual experience in gaming by providing them with an alternative environment. These immersive experiences are influential, compelling, and entertaining. There is a synthetic environment that virtual reality game development creates for the users and somehow the physical movements of the user are also directly connected using sensor-equipped gloves, hand controllers, etc. with the computer via VR headsets so that the user’s feelings and experience is extremely engaging and immersive. And, these engaging games or content when introduced to the target market helps in generating results through sales, consumer loyalty and reach.

How VR headsets work?

To understand how these VR headsets work for a user and how VR locomotion of the avatar takes place, one needs to understand the Degree of Freedom that is the number of directions an object or avatar can move in a 3D space. The total number of directions in which an object or avatar can possibly move are six. And having said that, the VR headsets are of two types - 3DOF and 6DOF. 3 Degrees of Freedom (3DOF) VR headsets include the rolling (head pivots side to side), Yawing (head swivels along a horizontal axis), and pitching (head tilts along a vertical axis). Although 6 Degrees of Freedom (6DOF) VR headsets offer 3 additional directions which are elevating (person moves up or down), strafing (person moves left or right), and surging (person moves forward or backwards).

Forecasts project massive growth in both AR and VR headset sales in the coming years, with both technologies combined expected to sell over 26 million units per year by 2023. (Source: Statista)

The virtual industry is growing at a tremendous rate and the developers are working towards fulfilling the demands of the market that is to create applications that are affordable and go beyond entertainment. And so there is work being done to create cableless headsets with powerful processors that will allow users to view images in HD. The next few years might also see integration of AI and 5G into VR and AR shaping an advanced future for the gaming industry.

Gives creative content to the gamers

The experience that AR and VR development provides is undoubtedly ultimate but besides that it also delivers engaging and multidimensional content for the users that is thoroughly coded by the game app developers. The game developers also propose customized content for the targeted audience. There are several softwares, headsets, and content creation apps like Blippar and Zappar that are democratising Augmented reality which will let anybody create their own AR experiences. AR gaming also primarily incorporates game audio and visual content into the gamer’s environment in real-time.

Revitalization of the 3D experience

3D technology was introduced to the world in the year 1984 but it is now that this technology has been emerging and proactively being leveraged by businesses to not just improve the experience of their users but simplify the working process. It’s growth has opened the doors to many promising opportunities for various industries, gaming being one of them. And in the last few years, the market has seen the revival of 3D technological progression on the gaming screens.

Allows real-time interaction

The AR and VR-powered games are immensely interactive which also make them all the more attractive, fun, and entertaining. Nonetheless, no player enjoys lags in information of image or gaming control. With Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM), this technology allows the users to combine real life and computer derived images in real-time. Visual SLAM is actually an algorithm that processes images from a video camera in real-time which is 30 frames per second. Now we understand AR and VR better but to understand the concept of real time interaction, we also need to acquaint ourselves with the term “Extended Reality (XR)”. When multiple users are playing a game together, let's say in a multiplayer game, they tend to interact with one another and share the same virtual content or experiences. Real-time interaction with XR enables users to process the input data in milliseconds and amplifies the immersiveness with the technology being applied to a virtual environment. As a result, the games are more seamless and efficient.

Learning simulators

There are certain categories of creative video games and their virtual reality environments that use immersive technologies and are very successful among people for it gives them a platform to learn, train, and improve certain skills as they simultaneously play and enjoy with their friends. The usage of such interactive video games, the evolution in technologies, and low cost solutions have made Virtual reality and augmented reality more accessible to people.

The gaming industry is contemplating, pushing boundaries and striding towards a juncture where games and gamers will see a lot more breakthroughs that will define the future of gaming. Brilliant game developers around the world are doing unparalleled work in the field of game development. However, one such company with its adept team of game designers and developers is Logic Simplified in Dehradun. It is a professional VR and AR game development company that provides solutions for gaming businesses across the globe and allows you to hire AR game developers and VR game developers to not just create games but experiences that are indulging and immersive for every player. UX: The importance of understanding the psychology of the user https://logicsimplified.com/newgames/ux-the-importance-of-understanding-the-psychology-of-the-user/ Tue, 23 Feb 2021 07:09:22 +0000 https://logicsimplified.com/newgames/?p=6166 ]]> Users interact with and experience products and services and a company must understand the interaction and influence that users lay over the success or failure of a product in the market. All too often, business owners and product developers ignore the importance of understanding UX psychology and customer’s “unpredictable” needs. In spite of everything, for products, services and the businesses to maintain, improve and survive, it is crucial for them to be able to understand people’s emotions, behaviors and motivations and use that to create a better UX. Using psychology helps developers create seamless end user experience and the rules mentioned below will get you to create some booming UX design. UX being a vast subject in itself, it will take more than just one article to cover everything, but for this article, let’s take a look at 7 psychology laws and principles and see how they are used and affect UX. Let’s begin:

Jakob’s Law

Jakob Nielsen of the Nielsen Norman Group came up with one of the many rules of UX design psychology that says that most users do not like changes and appreciate familiar experiences every time they visit a game, website or an application. Thus, it is important to create a balance between newness and creativity. Artistic designers look for reinvention and ways to make their user interface stand out from the rest but this zeal is not appreciated and accepted by many users. And, it is said most internet users like to read and absorb information in a similar fashion.

Hick-Hyman Law

The Hick’s Law states that the time taken to decide increases logarithmically by increasing the number of choices. In other words, when the number of choices increases, the decision time taken also increases. For UX that means if you are giving a user too many choices or options that might not work well for your brand. Instead of bringing engagement, it might confuse them and annoy them as too many options makes it hard for a user to make a decision.

The Gestalt Principle of visual perception

In German, Gestalt means to form or shape. The principle came into being based on the finding that the human brain has this great ability to fill spaces, find shapes & patterns, and simplify complex designs and structures. It subconsciously arranges parts into whole structures to better understand the surrounding. The principle is guided by laws of Proximity, Similarity, Continuation, Closure, and Figure/Ground that have individual uses in UX that improve functionality and bring clarity in the user interface.

The Gestalt Principle of visual perception

Miller’s Law

Miller’s Law is all about keeping it simple. George A. Miller is a psychology professor at Princeton who wrote a popular paper “The magical number seven, plus or minus two: some limits on our capacity for processing information”. In his article, he proposed a law that stated “humans can effectively process no more than seven units, or chunks, of information, plus or minus two pieces of information, at any given time.” This law lays attention on the working memory rather than on the long-term memory which means the things that can be proactively nabbed by humans in a moment. When applied to UX design, the law says to keep it simple because more than seven elements on a single page might force the user to forget the rest which might not work in favour of the brand.

George A. Miller Law

The Color Psychology

Colors play an influential role on a human mind and thus understanding colors and the psychology behind it is important to create a color palette that works well for the brand and their designs. Businesses nowadays have specific colors associated with their brand which they call brand colors. To choose the right colors for your brand, it is absolutely important to know their meaning and significance and how their shades affect them. Human’s emotions are connected with colors and they are not just a part of art but they also involve science. There are ways in which colors are perceived by the viewer. They are associated with a feeling or mood and that’s not it. These emotions and perception impact a design, gingerly. In a way, they are not just looked at but are thought about, understood, felt, and influences user experience.

The Von Restorff Effect or the isolation effect

They say our brains group similar objects and basis this prediction this rule states that one different element from the others stands out from the rest unlike in the case of similar objects that are paired together. Applying this effect into UX designing will get users to remember certain elements over the others. This can be done by highlighting most elements and leaving a few unhighlighted so that the unhighlighted elements grab maximum attention. For instance, when you are reading a paragraph you are more likely to remember the words that are in bold or italics rather than the ones in regular font.

The Von Restorff Effect or the isolation effect

Mental Models

A human brain works in mysterious ways. This approach is based on how an individual’s thought process works in the real world. Well, there are expectations that every user has when they first land on a website, download an app, or play a game. Those expectations and basic knowledge in the head regarding the same are what you can call a mental model of how the user interfaces will work. The customers refer to these mental models in their head so that every time they undergo a new experience, it takes them less time to figure out everything from the scratch. When we relate this psychological trend to UX design, the mental models that a user creates in his brain lets them act in the most obvious manner. And, it is a UX designer's job to come up with a UX strategy to understand the user’s mental models and work around that making the user experience engaging and intuitive.

Brands and technologies perpetually update the mental models. To understand this better, a great example to go with this would be the right and left swipe on tinder that are associated with certain outcomes. Reversing the outcomes with the right and left swiping in any case would just confuse the users. To provide a lucid and smooth experience, the UX developers must comply with the commonly understood drill.

The above mentioned psychological trends are simple ways to provide a meaningful and relevant user’s experience but other than that, it is also crucial for a company to understand the user experience design psychology, in all. Social, behavioral, and cognitive psychology plays an important role in UX. One might have to put oneself in the user’s shoes to get a better understanding of the same. They say without psychology, a great design isn’t great. A design impacts the viewer’s mind in ways we are unaware of. Games, websites and applications have become complex as technologies have become more advanced. Thus, for a UX analyst it becomes absolutely essential to understand the user’s feelings, thoughts, and actions.

Having said that, Logic Simplified is a game design and development company that has user experience design professionals and game designers for hire who understand user psychology and implement solutions to create a win-win for both the client and the business. We start with the understanding that UX is one of the most important mobile game developer qualities and thereon, build and offer impeccable game design services at highly competitive costs. The next big thing in esports https://logicsimplified.com/newgames/the-next-big-thing-in-esports/ Wed, 27 Jan 2021 05:00:24 +0000 https://logicsimplified.com/newgames/?p=6137 ]]> Over the years, there have been technological and cultural transitions in the video game industry. Before just video games and now Electronic sports has come into being that presents organized multiplayer video game competitions to professional and amateur players. The game genres in esports include first person shooter (FPS), multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA), battle royale, fighting, card, real-time strategy (RTS) games, along with others. Unlike old times, they are now broadcasted live at local arcades or online for the large audience. This transition has popularised video games and made gamers internet superstars. Content has changed and become more realistic and violent with the support of electronic systems.

In April 2019, India conducted its first ever international E-sports event — CobX masters which was hosted in Mumbai. So far, the industry was already doing great and with the lockdown and stay at home orders coming in, the growth outstripped and esports became an overriding form of entertainment for people. The hype created by the top esports event, EGLX was huge with the entire event going virtual in 2020. The event was watched by over 12 million fans around the world. Game developers have given us some great projects in the year, 2020 and we expect nothing different this year. 2021 is expected to bring innovation and excitement into esports and the industry. Some exciting upcoming titles to anticipate in 2021 are League of Legends: Wild Rift, Wukong is surely going to be one of the most awaited games of 2021, the upcoming new championship for League of Legends, and there are others on the list.

U.S. Esports market size, by revenue source, 2016 - 2027 (USD Million)

The million dollar industry is big and esports is making the online gaming industry enormously popular with esports betting, marketing, publicizing, and so much more. There are celebrities and athletes supporting, participating and getting engaged in esports and raising money for charity through tournaments by involving their fans and supporters.

The most popular games on esports are League of Legends, Fortnite, DOTA 2, Counter Strike: Global offensive and Hearthstone with League of Legends having the highest monthly active players of over 100M. Esports popularity and live streaming of Esports games gathers a humongous amount of viewers and followers. The video gaming industry has changed and now it just doesn’t come out as another great source of entertainment for millennials but also as a professional career opportunity. The gamers, game developers, Esports sponsors and influencers think of it as a lucrative opportunity considering it’s increased popularity, impressive prize pools, one-on-one sponsorships, and continuous in-flow of revenue.

Esports has millions of fans from around the world and they follow and stay tuned to see their favourite players play and compete on international levels. Esports tournaments have become one of the biggest platforms for both gamers and companies and hence, for development in the gaming business. This platform has made video game players and teams popular. The longest-running event in the industry is the eSports World Convention which started way back in 2003 and has grown ever since, in different genres. From the times when Fifa eWorld Cup tournament was played sitting in the living room to now on the big stage, this tournament has been very popular around the world since 2004. The tournament was broadcasted live on Youtube, Twitch, and even on some TV channels in some countries and was open to everyone for participation. Call Of Duty and Counter-Strike Championship are also amongst the most played video games ever, with highly competitive online scenes, more regional competitions, and as to be expected their own international tournament only open to the highest level of players out there. Offering big prizes and incredible recognition. The year 2020 has been a great year for esports and following that Free Fire will be hosting four powerful tournaments for India across two pro circuits with a total prize money of more than 2 crores.

Over and above that, let’s talk about a few trends that are expected of Esports in 2021.

The rise of 5G

Globally, 87 percent of gamers find the process of downloading games frustrating, a small increase of two percent since last year which may represent an improvement in performance. The length of time it takes to download games was noted as the top issue, with 32 percent of gamers citing this as their primary concern. Expert gamers and aspiring professionals have the most frustration with download speed, with half of them noting this.

Source: LimeLight

The frustration of downloading a game on a low bandwidth and the importance of speed, latency, and stability in using the internet is known to all. And, rise in 5G is expected to drop the latency down to less that 1 millisecond. Yes, that’s right. The highly anticipated 5G is what is expected to bring change in the future of gaming and solution to the problem of reduced latency. The latency in 5G is believed to reduce to below 5 ms, which will be a 10-fold improvement to that of 4G. For Esports, this progress would mean augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR), multiplayer mobile gaming, and interactive and immersive gaming for players.

The next generation gaming consoles

Xbox series X and PlayStation 5 by Microsoft and Sony will exhibit the improvement that has been brought in the gaming technology with every new generation of hardware. These next generation consoles will for the first time let gamers take a majority of their existing library with them, be it physical or digital onto the new gaming platform. With 4K, solid-state drives and other spec changes, the next-gen gaming consoles by Microsoft and Sony will also support almost every title in the existing console platforms’ libraries on either Xbox, Xbox 360, and Xbox One while Sony’s PlayStation 5 will support a majority of PS4 games. The players will decide where they want to play and whether they want to upgrade to a newer version or not. There are also a few far-reaching franchise releases like Call of Duty, Black Ops Cold War, and the new Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.

Cloud Gaming

Cloud gaming or gaming-as-a-service will let people play any game they like through a live stream on their device. With the use of high performance servers and high-speed internet connection, Cloud gaming will make sure that gamers are able to play latest games irrespective of the type of gaming hardware or its performance. This is revolutionizing the gaming industry in ways we cannot even imagine by outsourcing computational needs to remote hardware.

In 2018, the value of the cloud gaming market worldwide was $1 million. Industry insiders predict that by 2025, it will grow to $8 million.

Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality

Virtual reality (VR) in the gaming market was valued at USD 7.7 billion in 2019 and is projected to reach USD 42.50 billion by 2025.

Source: WioNews

The ever-evolving and user-focused technology has been a blessing for the gaming industry. AR and VR games are doing even more well than the traditional games during these times. 2016’s Pokemon Go game showed Augmented reality in its full form and made people crazy giving the game 800 million downloads. Like 3D films, 3D effects in games are enjoyed by people as it gives them an immersive and captivating experience. Board game development on the rise during COVID-19 https://logicsimplified.com/newgames/board-game-development-on-the-rise-during-covid-19/ Tue, 07 Jul 2020 05:53:54 +0000 https://logicsimplified.com/newgames/?p=5478 ]]> With the mounting cases of the novel coronavirus, it has now become an insurmountable problem for people in countries throughout the world. Even so while some businesses are hit hard by the virus’s repercussions, board game development has been on the rise as people look for ways to pass their time. The world endures a population of over 8 billion and counting, out of which majority was under lockdown at the beginning of COVID-19 threat, and few areas have all the same continued with the lockdown—the reason being the growing number of Corona positive cases in their region. The masses worldwide are waiting for the government and the World Health Organization to look for a way to terminate the spread of the deadly virus.

The virus and the lockdown that followed have had adverse effects on people’s lives, some businesses are becoming successful, and others are struggling to outlast the competitive market. Industries are witnessing odd times and are introducing business continuity plans to get through this rough patch. Travel and hospitality industries are the worst hit. On the other hand, the gaming industry has somehow managed to remain afloat in these times of crisis, considering the challenges the global pandemic has brought along. In the middle of everything, the gaming business has remained popular even during these times. However, all the promotional and consumer events have been canceled or postponed due to the pandemic. There are important gaming events canceled, game launches delayed, and game companies are afraid of what uncertainty they could face in the near future, but it still is not bad for them compared to other industries.

“Based on GSD's data for the period of March 16 to March 22, there were 2.74 million games downloaded across the EMEA region, representing a 53% increase over the previous week. The longer a country has been in lockdown, the more sales increase; Italy, which introduced extensive containment measures on March 9, saw a 175% climb in digital sales.”

From being popular to now trending

The social distancing due to the COVID-19 triggered people to look for ways to stall time, and online games have been a great way to be entertained and build human interaction at the same time, predominantly online board games. The digital media has given people ways to stay social while maintaining social distancing. Concept board games that are available online build a sense of togetherness that people are trying to keep alive at these uncertain times when it is suggested that they maintain distance and avoid physical contact.

Ultimate Ludo Board Game

Ludo is the most popular game in India. Logic Simplified, a game development company in Dehradun, digitized and developed a fun multiplayer board game for a client known as Ultimate Ludo. A more advanced version of traditional ludo games with some added gameplay functionalities. The game has different Game Modes (Classic, Quick, or Master). It’s highlighting features and the lurking nostalgia that people experience make it so hard to resist.

People now avoid going outdoors as much as possible, and as said earlier, online games, especially board games, have become quite entertaining for people of all ages. Ultimate Ludo is prevalent amongst gaming enthusiasts. Digitization has made it possible for these gamers to play the game anywhere, at any time, and compete with other players such as their friends and relatives around the world. The designers and developers have kept the look and feel simple and disparate to give the user’s an immersive experience. The cross-functionality feature makes the game available to various people using different kinds of devices with versatile operating systems. It is a game that’s based on 75% Skill and 25% luck.

What makes Ultimate Ludo stand apart from its other digital adaptations of the traditional Ludo is that it sticks to the standard rules that people around the world are used to and make the game competitive and fun.

The craze that demanded for more

Multiplayer board game development involves creating, designing, developing, funding, producing, and marketing a board game. Board games fall into one of the many categories of Tabletop games and are games based on strategy, randomness, or combination of both. You will see eye to eye when I say board games are the most popular amongst people, and this growing appetite has driven to bring improvements in the quality of this game. Elegant mechanics, components, artwork, and graphics have been enhanced for better performance and improved user experience.

The internet is stacked with options for board game apps for your phone, along with digital recreations of your long lost favorite board games. And, playing these games with your friends can be a stress-buster and help you survive the boredom at home. There are various board games ranging from casual to competitive. And, the want for choices doesn’t end here. The audience wants choices to match their preferences, which can be a long list.

To meet the growing demands, board game app developers present globally have worked from remote areas on the improvements of older versions and creation of newer ones, parallelly evaluating all the probable impacts the uncalled-for situation will have on the gaming business. Developers have been using the quarantine to build board games based on Coronavirus to educate and entertain where the game’s objective is to kill the virus, learn to practice social distancing. One of the games is also called social distancing itself. Another one was called Bhag Corona (Run Corona) built by Akram Tari and Anushree Warade, and there are many more to name.

With the trending hashtag #PlayApartTogether and initiatives like “Stay at Home, Stay Safe,” the game development outsourcing companies is also helping spread awareness on social distancing and sanitary measures for COVID-19.

In the name of Mental health

Taking care of one's mental health becomes all the more critical at a time when people are spending so much time alone and idle. Sports participation promotes good health, combats stress with the fight-or-flight response as it does in video games or board games. Having said that, scientific research has noted that playing board games like chess, ludo, carrom, scrabble, checkers, etc. have benefits of cerebral training. In recent times, there has been an immense observable change in the social lives of people - within their families and outside. Stress and frustration due to being caught up at home and not being able to step out have encouraged people to get involved in activities. And, playing board games online is an excellent way for families to spend time together and battle stress. It is also a great way for children to learn to follow the rules, build concentration, improve health education by stimulating players' interests and motivation. This cooperative learning enhances creativity, deep learning, and enhances teamwork skills by provoking children's thoughts and creativity.

"The board game, like Monopoly or chess, are games that everyone can take part in, said Ashlet Priore, a second-year Dietrich School student majoring in English Literature and political science. Adding to that, they require the least of technical knowledge, and as they have minimum rules.

To conclude on the escalating demand for online board games, I would like to give a shout-out to the board game developers of Logic Simplified, who produce intense, customer-focused digital board games. Our multiplayer board game development team has the potential to meet different dimensions of a client's provoking thoughts and ideas, providing the best game development services one could ask for. They are capable of developing games that are engaging, entertaining, and compulsive in both 2D as well as in 3D and for iOS and Android platforms to make sure the gamers have an immersive experience. The game designers and developers hold expertise in AI development and reliable networking server/protocol that ensures large concurrent players for multiplayer and single-player games as they understand how valuable games have become for people in this challenging time.

High-speed Internet (4G/5G) connectivity has also made it easier for gamers to download and stream 3D games on mobile data. Let’s look at 5 best 3D games which gamers are currently enjoying on advanced smartphones of today.

List of 5 Best 3D Games for Mobile

Fortnite Battle Royale

Fortnite Battle Royale 3D game for mobile

Fortnite Battle Royale for mobile is the same game which is already very popular on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, Mac and Switch. Epic Games’ launch of Fortnite on mobile is certainly a big gift to the gaming community. All console options and gameplay features are available on mobile, which makes Fortnite an amazing 3D game to enjoy everywhere you go. But yes, Fortnite is not compatible with all smartphones as you require an Android 7.1 or above or an ioS 11 or above to play the game. Fortnite is free to play (F2P) and offers various exciting in-app purchases, but the game is still amazing even if you don’t buy anything. The game is set in a post-apocalyptic, zombie-infested world and inclined towards comic mischief and customizable whimsy, which sets it apart from other shooter games. According to a recent report by Sensor Tower, the mobile version of Fortnite alone has generated over $1bn on the App Store and Google Play in just over two years after its release. Fortnite’s mobile version is a great example of how large games can be effectively brought into the mobile space as well. This also shows that following the right mobile game development process is paramount for any game dev studio to make a mark out there.

Call of Duty: Mobile

Call of Duty 3D Game for Mobile

Call of Duty: Mobile is another very popular shooter game which brings together the fun of Modern Warfare and Black Ops map. Activision, the publisher of Call of Duty, brought CoD to mobile and it provides the same flow and cadence of combat as you get while playing on consoles and PCs. The touch controllers are impressive when compared to the familiar controller or keyboard/mouse, whether it’s about aiming, shooting, navigating the terrain or popping off shots. You can imagine the popularity of CoD by the fact that it had more than 170 million downloads and earned nearly $87 million in global player spending in its first two months only. CoD: Mobile falls in the category of F2P and revenue is earned from in-app purchases. When we talk about sophisticated 3D games for mobile, CoD makes a big mark for sure. 3D Shooting game developers are doing a great job to get players hooked to action games on their smartpones.

You can also buy houses, visit businesses, pick up hookers, and do all the other things GTA is popular for. Touch controls are available in three types so as to provide players the flexibility to tweak settings according to their taste. But it will still take a little bit to get used to the touch controls. GTA is not a free game and there are no actual in-app purchases. Yes, you can buy merchandise by visiting Rockstar’s website but there are no in-app purchases. With Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, Rockstar Games has brought its biggest release to mobile yet with a large open-world covering the state of San Andreas and its three major cities – Los Santos, San Fierro and Las Venturas. Rockstar has done a really good job in making a console game look and play great on mobile with flexible graphical settings, all the various control settings, the updated graphics, and more. GTA: San Andreas has 1,000,000+ downloads on Google Play alone

Gamentio - 3D Casino Game for Mobile

Gamentio - 3D Casino Game for Mobile

Gamentio offers Poker, Rummy and Teen Patti in 3D and various customizable 3D avatars. You can also participate in Auctions (Android only) to do live bidding and take away great products at rock-bottom prices. While playing card games, players can also chat with other players on the table and make thousands of friends across the globe. You can also create a private room to invite and play only with your friends in case you aren’t comfortable playing with strangers. The best part is that Gamentio consumes very less mobile data and you can play for hours without having to worry about buying data boosters frequently. Gamentio is a free-to-play 3D app and offers in-app purchases. Gamentio is a solid attempt at revolutionizing card game mobile apps which are mostly available in 2D formats and look bleak. Gamentio has over 50,000 installs on Google Play. Card game development has become very popular in the past few years and as we are writing this, so many fans out there are sitting glued to their smartphones playing their favorite card games.

Subway Surfers 3D Mobile game

Subway Surfers is an endless runner game available on Android, iOS, and Windows. Players take on the role of a graffiti artist and run to escape from the grumpy inspector and his dog after being caught while applying graffiti to a metro railway site. While running on railroad tracks and dodging collisions with trains and other objects, you get chances to grab gold, coins, powerups and more items. In March 2018, Subway Surfers became the first game on the Google Play Store to reach one billion installs. Subway Surfers comes for free and earns it revenue from in-app purchases. Subway Surfers is similar to Temple Run (TR) but is much more lighthearted and shows no blood and gore, which makes it stand apart from TR. You can also play as other characters but they have to be unlocked either through game play or in-app purchase. Subway Surfers is undoubtedly one of the most popular 3D games that bring the magic of arcade-style games on mobile. From 2010-2019, Subway Surfer was the top-downloaded title on mobile, with more than 2.5 billion downloads.

Quick Tips to Know Before Developing a Game in C++ https://logicsimplified.com/newgames/quick-tips-to-know-before-developing-a-game-in-c/ Tue, 02 Jun 2020 06:37:49 +0000 https://logicsimplified.com/newgames/?p=5386 ]]> So, you have made up your mind to develop a game in C++. Well, that’s a great idea. However, you could use some tips before starting out with the actual development. Where to start, what to work on, how to go about it, etc. Plus, there are multiple game engines available. Should you use these engines, and how? More importantly, is it more relevant to study these engines extensively or learn C++? Read on to know more.

Object-oriented programming

Object-oriented programming is one of the most useful concepts of C++. One of the most common problems in gaming is creating objects in the program code. These objects are used to create and control the things that appear to the player on screen. If the data types offered by C++ were the only data types one could use, controlling a player character would be extremely difficult. However, using C++, we can create data types that represent the things you see on the screen. Say your game includes a fire-spitting monster. To effectively control the monster, we need to define a variable “monster” in the code. This variable will store all information needed to represent the monster in the program. This information might include the monster's current position, how far it can spit, and how many firefruits it has eaten (the more the number of fruits, the farther the monster can spit). Further, when the dragon character moves across the screen, the variable should keep track of its movement direction and speed.

Fast Compilation

Using C++ ensures that games are compiled fast and, in turn, run faster. This is especially important when games have high frame rates or when the game play involves high-speed response.

Fine Tuning of memory and Data Structures

C++ offers strong low-level intervention that allows developers to access and control low-level hardware resources. This may not be very useful in developing business applications, but in developing games, this may come in very handy. This low-level access and programming allows low-level control and allows fine tuning memory allocation and data structures. These functions prove to be very useful in high-performing applications, including games.

Portability

Portability is a significant issue while developing games. With so many gaming platforms having emerged, you don’t want to write a game that operates on a limited number of platforms and lose out on a huge potential client base. And it should not come as a surprise that where portability is concerned, C++ is an obvious choice. All you need are architecture-appropriate compilers.

Development time

Most of the earlier games and gaming engines have already been written in C++. When developing new games, it’s not alway possible or feasible to develop new platforms. Thus, time and again, existing code is taken and upgraded for the new generation. Thus, to save time and cost, old codes written in C++ are taken and rewritten with improvements without switching to other, different languages.

Absence of Garbage Collection

C++ does not employ garbage collection. This can be a boon for games, because if a game were to halt, even for a moment, for garbage collection, it would be a problem. Games with higher frame rates would be especially affected by garbage collection.

Game Engines that support development with C++

Using a game engine is a great way to develop high-performance games, both 2D and 3D. This takes away a huge part of the load of game development from you and lets you focus on what is more important to develop your game.

    • CryEngine
    • Lumberyard
    • OGRE
    • G3D Innovation Engine
    • Godot
    • Torque3D
    • Banshee Engine
    • Source Engine
    • Limon Engine
  • idTech

Tips to know while developing a game

Quick tips to know doe game development

Choose your game library

For the graphical/audio subtleties of your game, picking a library would be much easier than creating one. Game libraries can help you with:

    • Loading and handling images
    • Loading and handling audio
    • Image manipulation
    • Drawing
    • Text rendering
  • Creating and controlling threads

Define the concept of your game

All games start with an idea. Come up with an idea and expand on it. Think of the Game, players, objective, scoring etc. If you wish for your game to have a storyline, develop it. Create characters and the storyline. It’s important to know that any game, especially the complex ones, develop over time. So it’s ok if you do not have the entire picture in the beginning. Start with an idea, things will fall into place!

Pick an Engine

Unless you’re making a simple board or an arcade game, it’s always better to use a game engine. A game engine is a high-powered library that provides high-level functionality such as physics rendering, resource handling and game entity management. Making an entire game engine can be cumbersome, and sometimes impractical. Use an engine that’s already available and focus on what you want to develop.

Add media (audio and video)

Choose all the images and audio you would like to include in your game. If you can’t create pictures, just download them. A huge number of graphic and audio effects are available on the Internet. They are just a search away.

Write the game

Once you have decided the game engine or framework, you can get on to start writing the game. The writing part will consist of two or three main parts. First, decide the game logic. The game logic will decide iterations, rules, the initial state of the game, and the main loop.

Package and distribute

After everything’s done, it’s time for packaging that game you created. Pack it and start distributing it! Or even better, if you think it's good enough to be sold, sell it!

Top Virality Features To Design In Video Games https://logicsimplified.com/newgames/top-virality-features-to-design-in-video-games/ Thu, 28 May 2020 08:18:53 +0000 https://logicsimplified.com/newgames/?p=5348 ]]> To simply put virality in video games, a great way to quickly acquire new users by letting existing users spread the word of mouth and significantly bring down user acquisition costs. But don’t mistake virality for a single feature of forcing users to tap or click on a random sharing button. For result-driven virality features, you need to make virality a design principle and engineer it in a way that naturally triggers users to take actions to spread the good word about your game. Read this blog if you want to build a game that has a high viral coefficient (the K factor) to achieve virality and create success like Angry Birds and Candy Crush did.

Virality: The Best Acquisition Strategy

through App Discovery

Why Virality is The Best Acquisition Strategy

Build a Sharing Mechanism that’s Super Easy to Find

While designing games online for virality, it’s important to make the sharing mechanism part of the core game loop. But, it’s even more important to ensure that users don’t have to make too much effort when they think of inviting their friends and socializing through your game. An easy sharing mechanism increases a user’s tendency to send more invites which in turn increases the chances of more conversions. Below are a few tips on how you can increase the average number of invites sent by users:

    • Don’t hide the invite mechanism in in-game menus or in settings.
    • Provide multiple social media platforms to easily send an invite.
  • Offer users something in exchange for sharing your game, and explicitly explain the benefits.

Right placement of the buttons for sharing, referring or inviting is the key to attract users’ attention to share your game with their friends. Have a look at some of the placement examples used by popular games to increase the average number of invites.

Button placement examples used by popular games to increase the average number of invites

In addition to visibility, it’s also important to make the sharing process frictionless. The three popular ways to implement the invite process are:

    • Native sharing
    • Unique codes
  • Facebook Game Requests

Time it Right

The success of your referral program heavily relies on how you time it. You need to provide an awesome experience to users first and then make it natural for them to share your game. The WOW moment is the key here. The right time to ask for a referral is when users have experienced something great about your game, such as having completed a difficulty level, made significant in-game progress or got access to a new character, weapon, etc. Such WOW moments make it natural for users to share the news with their friends and it’s important for you to design your referral program around them. Also, when users are at a high-satisfaction point, it’s the best time to ask them to rate your app, write a review or give feedback. Out of the amazing experience they just had, they would be highly likely to rate your app high and leave positive reviews on app stores which also play a big role in making your app go viral.

For example, Doomsday Clicker asks its players to share in-game progress through a pop up that says “Show the world your chaos”. Before moving to the next level, users see the pop-up and many of them share their achievements with friends and invite them too to compete and socialize with them.

Players on Doomsday Clicker sharing in-game progress with friends and inviting to compete and socialize

In-built Mechanism to Identify where to Place Invite Buttons

As every game is different, so is the point of high satisfaction. Having some in-built mechanism or signals that point towards those WOW moments are very helpful to get the placement right for your referral program. When you know which screens users engage the most with, what achievements make them ecstatic, the levels and in-app merchandise they crave for, etc., you can tie the acquisition of those things to “social”. Having an in-built mechanism that gives you insight into users journeys makes the job much easier for you to find the best places to put the invite or share buttons. If your game has what it takes to get users engaged, you can definitely make the best of virality as users will be very likely to reach a point: “I like it. I think Mike will like it, too. You only need to identify those points with an in-built mechanism and see virality doing the wonders for your game.

Multiple Platforms for Social Sharing

You shouldn’t rely on just one social media platform to make virality work for you. Let your users share and invite friends on their preferred social media channels to maximize your game reach. Using only Facebook's Graph API adds friction as both the sender and the receiver have to be connected on Facebook. You should build some tech or use some turnkey tool that allows users to share interesting content on their preferred social media channel.

Ongoing Optimization

Keep testing your referral marketing campaign to figure out what’s working and what’s not. You can always optimize virality features in your game by keeping a close eye on how your users are interacting with the invite and share button and if they are happy to share in exchange for the reward you’re offering them. Fluff Fairy and Super Evil Megacorp's title Vainglory are good examples that saw a sharp rise in conversion rates after tweaking the game's messages, invites messages and images.

Sharp rise in conversion rates seen by Vainglory after tweaking the game's & invite messages.

Likewise, you should test and experiment with your referral marketing campaign on an ongoing basis to keep taking it closer to perfection and cut your user acquisition costs by a big margin.

Virality is all about understanding your game audience and incorporating the learnings to take advantage of the natural instinct of users to show the world interesting content when they exactly want to. So, to succeed, you must make your referral marketing campaign part of your core game loop and let users bring new users.

There are various ways you can achieve virality for your game but if you’re somehow struggling to implement them in the right way, the best recommendation is to hire game designers and developers who know how to build and make virality features work the best for your game. Logic Simplified is happy to work with you on your game be it game development services or fitting the viral hooks for user acquisition. Reasons to hire game developers from Startups https://logicsimplified.com/newgames/reasons-to-hire-game-developers-from-startups/ Tue, 26 May 2020 11:17:08 +0000 https://logicsimplified.com/newgames/?p=5336 ]]> The gaming industry so far was changing and mushrooming, all for good. And, while at it, it experienced a pause just like the rest of the world. We got hit by a pandemic - COVID-19, and while it hindered the game production, it accelerated the game sale. As Leo Tolstoy said, “Boredom is the desire for desires.” Amidst the forced lockdown in the countries, gamers and gaming enthusiasts turned to video games to curb their boredom.

Average time spent of consumers on gaming increased by 11% - Graph

Source: GeekWire

Due to the social distancing measures, the average time spent on gaming increased by 11%.

Outsourcing to game app developers working in startups could help deal with the challenge of lagging game production. Tangible and Intangible deliverables are not being completed on time which is why ideas and tasks that need execution are becoming problematic to carry out. Hence, it calls for a shift to outsourcing. Because who wants to lose clients and customers? No one, right? So, don't shuttle between the dilemma of hiring a startup for the job or not. Because you're about to read good reasons that will convince you, you should.

Outsourcing to a game development team always starts with resource constraints and helps gaming businesses improve operations and processes by focusing on core activities. It lessens the workload. Critical errors are minimized, lead times are reduced, and quality of work stays intact. Other than the startup benefits already mentioned below, few more on the list are time-saving, reduced overheads, staffing flexibility, and enhanced risk management.

There are rising challenges that video game development and production facilities are facing, and which has led to the rising need to up our “production game” and overcome the predicament. As I said, the sales are not suffering. Outsourcing, of course, is the answer, but outsoursing to a startup game dev studio give you a heads up on that one.

Concrete rationale for you

to choose Startups

Concrete rationale for you to choose Startups

1. Lower Cost

Most irresistible benefit of outsourcing to startup game development company is reduced development cost. Primarily startups focus on making their place in the market and not on short-term revenue. Startups that want to stay for long are bound to deliver products, services, or technology that people need and love. They are well aware that they should not be making a lot of money off their first customers, helping their clients engineer their product to help them attract other customers. And, eventually, make their go-to clients every time they outsource.

It ensures that the job will be done at a much lower cost along with better quality of service. But here, low price does not mean low quality, and a reputed organization will always make sure of that. Anytime, the in-house developers and programmers cost way more than outsourcing to the startup.

2. Higher Expertise

Because you can choose and hire game development services from specialists. You surely have a team of people who know their job and do it well, but expertise goes a long way, and it has the potential of surprising you with something unexpected. The extra benefit comes with multiple professionals doing the job that was supposed to be done by one. So, the process is broken into more straightforward tasks, which ensures precision and quality.

Other than somebody who can draw and code, it would be best if you also hire game designers who have the expertise to create successful games that give higher returns in the market. For that, you require competent professionals who can implement those ideas of yours.

3. Better Focus

Because mark my words, when I say hire game app developers from startups, hard workers is what comes to anyone's mind. They are desperate to make their place in the industry and high on motivation. They reflect caliber, and their work radiates competence. Have the best developers on your team to work for you and give you the best techniques and expertise is what they strive for. Gaming technologies have evolved over time, and the gaming techies are here to surprise you with improved quality and content that is required to build a great game.

4. Innovation in Business

“No industry for old men” is what the gaming industry is better known as. It is dictated by the young. Young entrepreneurs are bagged with a passion for bringing their innovative business ideas to life with the help of expert training, mentorship, and their underlying potential. Millennials are known to have the determination and zeal to stand out in whatever they do. They are excited people who are often high on motivation, which gets the problems solved and, yes, timely.

5. Outsourcing Repetitive Work can increase employee productivity

In the Gaming industry, it is known as "Grinding." And, that's how one can free employees' time for high-level operations. Some In-house time-consuming tasks can at times become monotonous for the people. Employees tend to get bored doing the same task, time and again, which sooner or later starts to hamper their creative thinking. By outsourcing these tasks, the efforts of the in-house team can be focused on the more critical and creative projects at hand. This can be beneficial when you have too many projects on your corner.

The all-good road with Startups

Potential Startups are built around their passion projects. Hence, the developers in startups love games and are, of course, skilled programmers. These lines of companies can't risk taking amateurs on a startup ride, so you can expect the game developers to be well acquainted with the trending technologies and have sharp knowledge regarding the gaming development engine.

When you think of outsourcing something that your resources are not good at, it is smart to invest in resources outside your company that are adept in their genre. That guarantees reliable results. This company is likely to draw some knowledge and get a hold on techniques, the hereabouts, and whereabouts of a game development technology from the outsourcer. More clearly, learn how a specific outcome can be achieved. Logic Simplified, a game development company, has a creative team to meet all your needs. They are into various genres - like they provide 2D, 3D artists along with Unity game developers and AR game developers for making next-gen games to provide players with a highly immersive experience that they expect from today's modern games.

The number of people working in a startup is standarly low, making every team member's role very crucial. In contrast, the gravity of one person in a big organization might not be that significant. The people in a small organization are brimming with responsibility, reliability, versatility, and willingness to explore ideas that make a client's product original.

With all this, comes the authority, which provides the team members the independence to make well thought and quick decisions. This results in increased efficiency.

Startups allow their employees to branch out in various other fields. This way, they know the process as a whole and maintain productivity in the work being done.

Owing to the small size of the company, everyone in a startup is visible for the kind of work they are doing. Hence, good work is detectable, and so are the mistakes which lead to careful actions and gradually lesser mistakes, and that's the road to perfection.

Every single person in a startup, even the founders are wholeheartedly involved on a project or a task. Nevertheless, they understand their position and the fact that there is a long way to reach the destination, to survive and prosper, and to achieve the business objective. They understand the need to stand out of the crowd which can be achieved only through their work. Work that's outstanding and techniques that are unique.
