A student mentor’s dream. Our challenge.

Our client was a mentor and career advisor for students and college graduates. He saw fresh recruits lacking in the subtle expertise it takes to work successfully in a corporate setting. He wanted to change that. How? The client wanted an interesting 3D multiplayer virtual set-up for students. The look and feel had to be as real as possible, where players could interact, work with others and adapt to the challenges.

He shared his vision with us. We aligned our tech expertise with it.

We created an innovative training program which simulates an office environment. Through its immersive 3D interactive CPD (Continuing Professional Development) certification, players acquire new skills, refine the old and ready themselves for the corporate world. From soft skills to those needed for strategizing, problem-solving and team work, Corporate Life educates them in all.

At the beginning, the player picks one personality type from a list and some other additional details about their work, social and personal life. During the course of the game/session many details are captured and questions from Myers-Briggs Type Indicator questionnaire are also asked. At the end of the full session an MBTI report is presented along with the assesor's review of the candidate. It also performs a Personality Type assessment.

Our client approached us with an exciting challenge: to create a fun 3D arcade-style game that will keep players coming back for heavy doses of laughter & craziness. They wanted a game that was filled with cartoon-like characters, a humorous interface and a theme that is cute, playful, and silly, but surely not gross. Imagine yourself as the star of the game, standing tall on your porcelain throne, ready to take on waves of cute invaders. Using your trusty stream of pee, you'll aim and shoot at tiny boats, rats, baby sharks, alligators and slithering snakes of various sizes and speeds. Kushtena is a fast-paced, trick-taking card game that is great for improving one’s card skills. It is played in two teams and features elements of Arabian culture, with accordion music, cards adorned with exotic faces and embelished with old-world jewelry. This game is suitable for both adults and children and is full of excitement and competitiveness, making it an adrenaline-filled activity. The multiplayer app includes options for both public and private game rooms, as well as voice and text chat features so you can connect with friends and combat boredom. In addition to being a fun way to relax, Kushtena also helps to develop strategic thinking and teamwork skills.

Challenge

Our client came to us with a request for a full-cycle card game development that would transport an old Middle Eastern card game into the tech age. The trick-taking game needed to be highly engaging for long periods of time and provide endless entertainment value. The UI/UX needed to be carefully crafted to keep players absorbed in the game without feeling overwhelmed. From the colour scheme to the graphics to the music, everything had to be perfectly tailored to the theme of the game.But that's not all - our clients also requested the addition of an AI bot feature that would allow players to pick up right where they left off if their internet connection drops or the app goes into the background. As they tap to grill, bake, and prepare dishes, they’ll travel through 6 unique locations, rapidly serving up regional cuisines to starving customers. With unlockable dishes, locations, and towns to explore, and a diverse range of customers to impress, this unique and entertaining culinary game offers endless variety and hours of entertainment.

Client’s Goals and Our Roles

Our client approached us in 2019 with the goal of developing a 2D kitchen gaming app that would offer high user retention rates. They wanted to create a game with a similar concept to Cooking Craze, but with unique locations and classic cuisines.

Working closely with the client, we developed a plan to create a game that would spark a player's interest in cooking, provide a sense of thrill and accomplishment, and be compatible with a variety of devices and screen sizes. To achieve this, Logic Simplified designed a game that features hundreds of levels with different themes, ensuring a fresh and engaging challenge for players.

Overall, the goal of this project was to create a lightweight, addictive game that would keep players entertained for hours on end. A client who wanted to hire an offshore game dev team approached us to build an innovative online 3D card game.
